Surprise, surprise… I bought more stuff from Amazon! I can’t help it, I just love being able to buy affordable stuff and then have it delivered in two days. It’s like the Bette Midlet quote, “I want it all… and I want it delivered”. That’s SO me!! Anyways. Recently, I bought a haul of sweaters from Amazon in honor of the Autumn season upon us. And since it has still been in the upper 90’s here in Houston, I have not really been able to wear them out in public and style them with real-life outfits. So I decided to gather all of the new sweaters and do an Amazon sweater try-on haul right here from the comfort and air-conditioning of my own home!
First up is an army green cowl neck sweater that runs for $24. This sweater is oversized so a little longer, but the slits in the side make it more flattering. Even though it is waffle knit, the sweater is still very lightweight, which is perfect for fall in the southern states. But this sweater can easily transition into winter with a long sleeve shirt underneath or with a vest!
Second, is this black, chunky turtleneck sweater. I’ve seen a lot of these thick turtleneck sweaters on the Gram lately so I’m excited that I found this one one Amazon for $35. I always love wearing turtleneck sweaters because it gives me an excuse to wear my hair up on a topknot and not have to worry about it. My hair is so long that if I wear my hair down with a thick turtleneck sweater it’ll look like I weigh 800 pounds, so I always wear my hair up with chunky and/or turtleneck sweaters so my face looks slimmer.
Next, is this multicolor striped crew neck sweater. I really like how this sweater isn’t super long so you don’t necessarily have to tuck it in to jeans or pants. You can wear this with leggings and sneakers to run errands or wear it with jeans and booties to work. This sweater is pretty thick so it will keep you nice and warm, or you can roll the sleeves up on the warmer fall days!
I also bought the same loose-fit, boyfriend-style long sleeve top in three different colors. 1.) It’s super comfy, 2.) it’s loose fitting so it can be dressed up or dressed down, and 3.) it’s thick almost like a sweatshirt-in-disguise so I can wear it to work with a statement necklace and no one will know that I’m actually wearing my pajama top from the night before.
This is the same oversized long sleeve top but in dark gray. I’ve worn these tops so far with leggings and sneakers to the movies, cut-off denim shorts and flip flops to our neighbor’s house to hang out, and nice jeans and heels to work. These tops are incredibly comfortable and incredibly versatile so they can basically be worn with anything to anywhere, just depends on how you style it!
Aaaaand I forgot to take a pic of the black boyfriend-style top. It looks just like the green and gray ones, except in black, haha!
And last but not least, this color block sweater that is the true embodiment of fall. This sweater has sold out a few times but I finally got my hands on one. As I am writing this, it is currently in-stock and selling for $29, but it could sell out at any moment. I will keep an eye on it and post updates on Instagram if it sells out and comes back in stock! I’m wearing a size small and planning on rolling up the sleeves during the warmer-weather fall days and I will leave the sleeves down on the colder days. The sleeves are a little long but I love that oversized sleeve look paired with a bunch of rings!
I have some more Amazon fall fashion finds on my radar, just waiting for a few things to come back in stock. But that is my Amazon sweater try-on haul! I’m sure there will be an Amazon sweater try-on haul part two (and three, and four) as the season progresses, haha! And when I order the other stuff on my radar, I will be sure to let you all know! 😉
