PSA: there are some profanities throughout this blog post, so if you are easily offended by profanities, take them with a grain of salt. It’s a bachelorette party after all!! 😉
We had girls coming in from all over the US: Houston, Austin, Dallas, Philly, Boston, New York, etc. We had a Facebook group dedicated to the bachelorette party so we could keep track of what to wear, what to bring, how much each activity was going to cost, what time everyone’s flights were landing, etc. We had a group of 16 girls so the Facebook group was much easier to organize. Smaller groups could just do a group text but it’s easier to find certain posts about a certain topic through Facebook and you can also post all of the pictures you took to that FB group and everyone can just go in and save what they want!
We stayed in an AirBnB condo that was huuuuge! It was four stories tall and slept almost 20 people comfortably. The 4th floor was a huge rooftop deck perfect for outside partying. The moms of the bride actually rented the AirBnB for everyone so we just had to buy our flights, food, drinks, and activities. They are the real MVPs!! The MOH made everyone an itinerary for the weekend and made us all goodie bags with our lingerie party matching tops, our matching gray “Life of the Party” tops to wear to the bar crawl, some advil, candy, snacks, hair ties that said “To have and to hold… your hair back” (so stinkin’ cute!), and these tumbler cups with our names in pink cursive on them!

We had a beer bike, bar crawl, party bus, and a few trips to Broadway planned for the weekend along with a few brunches, lunches, and dinners.

When we first got to the house we dropped our stuff off in our assigned rooms and got ready for brunch. We went to Milk & Honey Nashville on 11th Ave. Nowhere in Nashville does reservations for more than six people so we had to wait about two hours for a table. So while we waited we all walked around, took pictures in front of the big wings, and went to an Irish pub a few blocks down and took some shots and drank mimosas! Once our table was ready we all ordered drinks and food immediately to save time. I ordered a (few) “Bees Knees” and the Turkey & Avocado sandwich. Both were delicious!!! The Bees Knees cocktail is a gin, lemon, and honey drink and it was THE BOMB!
After Brunch, we went back to the AirBnB and got ready for dinner and the Beer Bike. We were requested to wear denim bottoms and a pink top while the bride wore denim bottoms and a white top. I wore my cut-off booty shorts and a bright pink off-the-shoulder top. We went to dinner at Saint Anejo. We had to wait a little bit for the table so we went upstairs to the bar and had some drinks and took some photos while we waited.

After dinner, we walked to the Beer Bike pickup area. We used the company Sprocket Rocket Party Bikes for the bike tour (Nashville’s #1 Party Bike). We paid ahead of time for the beer bike and it was $35 a person. We also signed waivers a few weeks in advance to save time because we were probably going to be intoxicated, and 15 intoxicated girls aren’t super productive. The beer bike was BYOB so we stopped at a gas station on the way there. AND for the beer bike, everyone 25 years old and younger had to show two forms of IDs, and no one under 21 could ride the beer bike. Just a heads up!

The beer bike was soooo much fun!! We played music the whole time and the driver gave us a drinking game to play: every red light we stopped at we had to take a drink, every person we drove passed that took our picture we had to yell “paparazzi” and take a drink, and every man riding an electric scooter that we passed we had to yell “scoot scoot” and take a drink. There was also a bartender on the bike who was refilling our drinks so we never ran out. Let me just say that we all got pretty hammered. And it was an absolute blast!
After the beer bike, we went to Broadway and bar hopped around. We watched some live music, danced, the bride-to-be epically did the worm on the dance floor, and we all took some free shots (probably why I was so hungover the next day). Then once we got back to the AirBnB, a few of us stayed up and played drunk baseball with a wet paper towel until 2am when the other girls told us to hush. Haha!

The next morning we had a surprise lingerie party for the bride to be and we wore our bright pink “Champs Drink (Sh)amps” shirt (abbreviated champagne) while we drank mimosas and ate breakfast tacos. We all brought lingerie and a name for our lingerie (“body of a goddess”, “midnight snack”, “here cums the bride”, etc.) and they were all wrapped up anonymously besides the name and the bride had to open them and guess who they were all from! And the MOH made a “menu” for the groom to pick which lingerie he wants her to wear based on their names. I thought that was such a cute idea!!
After the lingerie party we all got ready for the bar crawl. We wore our matching gray “Life of the Party” t-shirts and the bride-to-be wore a white “Wife of the Party” t-shirt. The t-shirts were $27 each and we all wore them with denim bottoms (mostly denim shorts because it was hot outside). I also wore sneakers because I knew we would be walking a lot. We all took Ubers downtown, signed into the bar crawl and then started drinking! We used the company, Music City Pub Crawl and they really went all out for us! We sang karaoke, played some lawn games, and did a bunch of drinking! The Bar Crawl was $15 a person but we also had to buy drinks at each bar we went to.

After the bar crawl we all hung out at the AirBnB, drank some more, and made dinner (street tacos) before getting ready for the main night. We had a Party Bus planned and then bar hopping on Broadway. We were required to wear all black to the Party Bus and Broadway Round 2. Most people wore black dresses or black rompers and some girls wore black jeans with a nice black top. And the bride-to-be wore a cute little pink romper with white lace. I wore a leather mini skirt with a black lace tie top that was very low cut and black strappy heels.

The Party Bus was definitely my favorite part of the entire trip. It was a black school bus with the roof cut off and benches along the sides that we could stand on and dance while looking around at people and the city. So not only were we dancing, drinking, and partying, but we also got an amazing scenic tour of Nashville. It was awesome! We all stood on the benches holding onto the railing the entire time dancing and pointing at people. Other groups of people would all shout and cheer and we would do the same to them. It was so much fun! The Party Bus was also BYOB so we brought a bunch of beer, White Claws, Trulys, vodka, Mailbu rum, etc. and we had a bartender (actually named Kelsey) and she also acted as the DJ. And her playlist was fire!
After the party bus we went to Broadway and bar hopped some more. We did a lot of dancing, a lot of drinking, and a lot of eating pizza afterwards. I honestly can’t remember all of the bars we went to but I know we spent most of the night at Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock ‘N Roll Steakhouse (that’s actually the name of the bar) because it was the most fun. They had the best performer and every girl in there was so obsessed with him (he was super hot) and he would bring all of the bride-to-be’s on the stage and let them sing along with him. The bar itself was really interesting because the sign is shaped like a woman’s butt and there is a giant sign inside of the bar that says “Cadillac Pussy”… hahahaha!! I thought it was such a fun vibe for the bachelorette party scene! Then after the bar we went across the street to Luigi’s City Pizza and had a few slices and continued to dance a little bit while we waited for the pizza.

Then after pizza we went back to the AirBnB. Did y’all know that the bars in Nashville close at 3am instead of 2am?! That was news to me… So we got home at around 3:30am and we stayed up a little longer and drank some Pedialyte, ate some of the penis-shaped cookies that one of the girls MADE HERSELF(!!!), and danced around a bit before going to bed.

The next morning we all ate cinnamon rolls, packed up our stuff, and got ready to head back to reality. A lot of us were flying back between 3pm and 6pm so we packed our stuff up in the rental car and parked it at the Grand Ole Opry while we walked around and explored. We couldn’t actually go inside of the Grand Ole Opry without paying for a $33 ticket, and we were just killing time before going to the airport so we opted out of the ticket. We did go to the gift shop and picked up some stuff. I got my boyfriend a Grand Ole Opry t-shirt, I got my puppy a stuffed raccoon with a Grand Ole Opry cowboy hat, and I got a Christmas ornament for our tree.

Once we got to the airport we were all flying Southwest so we just hung out together until it was time to board our flights. We went to the Tootsies in the airport. I know it’s not as cool as the real Tootsies, but it was still nice to see at least a little bit of it! Then I waited two hours for my flight and watched A Simple Favor with Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.
This was my first real trip to Nashville and it was also my first real bachelorette party, and I’d say it’s going to be really hard to beat!! I had soooo much fun. All of the girls got along really well and there was hardly any drama. Which is pretty good with a group of 16 girls! We did a lot of drinking and a lot of partying, but that’s how bachelorette parties are supposed to be right?! I’m definitely considering having my bachelorette party in Nashville, whenever I get engaged, haha!
