If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen in my stories that I finally bought my first Louis Vuitton bag. This was a really big moment for me because I have wanted a Louis Vuitton bag since high school and as you probably know, they are hella expensive. But, thanks to eBay, I found one that I could afford! My eBay Louis Vuitton bag is a LV Monogram Keepall 50 travel duffel bag and I scored it for only $350!!
Now, I still have the highly-sought-after Louis Vuitton Monogram Neverfull MM (and GM) on my wish list but I have to do some major saving up before I’ll be able to afford that one. But now I know that eBay is the place to go for the super expensive designer handbags. The LV Keepall that I got for $350 is originally $1,440 brand new. And it is in almost perfect condition.
Two of the rivets/studs are missing off of the bag but I found replacement rivets on Etsy for $0.90. And there is a Sharpie mark on one of the side tongues but I’ve been researching how to remove that. Everything else is in great condition and it still has that fresh leather smell!
I didn’t bid on this LV bag on eBay. It had the “Buy it Now” for $350 option and bidding always gives me anxiety. Haha! So I just did the buy it now option and that was that! It was free shipping and came all nice and folded up in a bag, inside of bubble wrap, inside of a thick cardboard box so it was nice and protected.
Once the bag arrived, I cleaned out the inside with a lint roller and I wiped the outside off with a non-alcohol baby wipe and then I stuffed some pillows inside of it to get rid of the fold creases.
This LV Keepall 50 is the perfect, small carry on bag for traveling. I have a small lock and key to lock it up while at the airport, also. I’ve taken it on two trips with me so far. The first trip I used it to carry my shoes, book, Bluetooth speaker, and other random stuff. And the second trip, I used it to hold all of my toiletries and makeup.
Here are some authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall bags just like mine that are also super cheap!
All of the bags I listed above are authentic and the sellers all have good reviews. To see if a bag is authentic or not, there is a “date code” above one of the rivets/studs/buttons inside of the bag, it will usually be two letters stamped into the leather. That signifies the date of which the Louis Vuitton bag was made. If the seller didn’t include a picture of the date code, you can always contact them and ask them to send you a picture of it if you are weary of whether or not it is authentic. Just make sure you keep a sharp eye and buy from trustworthy sellers!
Happy Louis Vuitton hunting my friends! Don’t forget that you can keep an eye on eBay for better prices or less-used bags also!
