Valentine’s Day is coming up yooo! Whether you’re spending it with your S.O., or with your Galentine(s), or with your mom who loves you very much and would love to spend Valentine’s Day with you, or if you’re just spending it on your own because you are your own damn Valentine, you need the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit to celebrate!
Last year I spent Valentine’s Day at work and then met my mom for dinner afterwards! I brought her flowers and she brought me a Valentine’s Day cookie that said “I love you a latte”. How cute is that?! And this year I will actually be spending Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. Not sure what he has planned yet, but I have some outfits lined up that I wanted to share with you in case you don’t know what your plans are yet either! Or if you do know what your plans are but don’t know what to wear! 😉

Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with spending Valentine’s Day with yourself. I wouldn’t say “by yourself” because you should always be your own Valentine and you shouldn’t think that you’re spending it “alone”. It’s important to love yourself before you can love someone else. I’ve learned that the hard way, but you have to be happy and satisfied with yourself in order to have a healthy relationship. And I’m not saying to put yourself above all others like your husband/wife/children, but you should make sure that you are making yourself happy before or while you are trying to make someone else happy. Nobody wants to date/marry a Negative Nancy and your S.O. might not be trying to make you happy as much as they are trying to make themselves happy. Know what I’m sayin’?
So, Treat-Yo-Self to a hot bubble bath with candles and a bath bomb and a face mask and a book or your favorite Netflix show or movie. Pamper yourself! Order your favorite food and have a glass or bottle of wine and get a good night’s sleep! Treat-Yo-Self days are the best and what better way to spend a Thursday night than pampering yourself and doing what makes you happy?!
